A question for our dear Fyromians: IF you’re “ethnic Macedonians“, “ancestors of Alexander the Great“, with a “thousands of years of history” as you claim, then why no one knows you? Can you see something different on the chart below than the rest of us? Because what we see is a non-existent “ethnic Macedonian” presence…

Σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα της απογραφής που έγινε στην οθωμανική αυτοκρατορία στα τέλη του 19ου αιώνα βλέπουμε πως είχε διαμορφωθεί ο εθνολογικός χάρτης της Μακεδονίας την περίοδο 1881-1893. Καταγράφονται αναλυτικά οι υπήκοοι του κράτους ανάλογα με την εθνική τους ταυτότητα.

Translation of the above paragraph: According to the results of the census that has taken place in the Ottoman Empire in the late 1800’s, we see that the nationalities map of the Macedonian area, had been formed during the period 1881-1893. The residents of the empire are being recorded in detail, according to their national identity.

ΥΓ από MacedonianAncestry: Δεν ξέρω γιατί επάνω λέει “Καζάδες Θασσαλονίκης” αντί για “Καζάδες Μακεδονίας” μιας και ούτε π.χ η Γευγελή [κομμάτι της ΠΓΔΜ σήμερα, κομμάτι της Μακεδονίας στα τέλη του 1800] ή π.χ το Άγιο Όρος είναι κομμάτι της Θεσσαλονίκης. Προφανώς πρόκεται για αφηρημάδα του συγγραφέα και διατύπωσε λάθος αυτό που ήθελε να πει.
